Infamous
"Exhale" is a plug-in that every producer should have in his/her arsenal. Don't look at this as a blog post reviewing this product but simply as fate that you have come across a review that will change your music career forever. Output has made some extremely valuable plug-ins over time but in my opinion their 'Exhale' plug-in blows everything out of the water. This vocal engine was created by several top record producers who recorded and captured vocalist in different bands. They then tweaked these vocals into countless samples and loops that you can also manipulate heavily. The variety of sounds almost seem endless with the built in "engine" button where you can go in and change each voice, that creates that sound, into hundreds of other options.
Three different categories make up their sound library. The first one is called "notes", where you can actually play, perform, and hold chords for your harmony base tracks. The notes sections has about 150 styles of sounds, not including the 'engine' tab to edit heavily. Next to notes is the "loops" folder where you'll find about 250 styles of loops. Each style has it's own bank of loops that are fairly similar to each other. After this folder you'll find the "slices" folder where each style you click on will have one loop that has been sliced and dispersed throughout the keys.
Needless to say this plug-in should be in every producers tool kit. Exhale continues to exceed my expectations everyday and strongly suggest purchasing this product and starting your journey today. This video will go more in depth about what this plug-in has to offer and provide you with examples.
